About Us

Fellowship Baptist Church Markham started as a prayer meeting in Agincourt, Scarborough in May 1977, with services beginning at Alexmuir Public School the same year.

Pastor Thorold Marsaw pioneered this work and through community visitation it grew. In 1988, a new church building was constructed at its present site at 7478 Kennedy Road, near Denison St. in southern Unionville.

Our Church has grown over the last 30 years. Our members have come from all over the world to exemplify the wonderful diversity of God's Family.

We are incorporated under Federal Law and are a member of the Evangelical Fellowship of Baptist Churches of Canada.
